We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer for a long-term interim contract to lead a critical transformation management initiative in a manufacturing environment. The role involves overseeing process optimization efforts and addressing immediate operational challenges within the production line, while maintaining a commercial focus and reporting to the group’s international headquarters.

- Key Responsibilities:
Production Optimization: Lead the redesign of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall production performance.
Mechanical Systems Analysis & Improvement: Conduct in-depth analysis of mechanical systems and equipment, identifying inefficiencies and areas for system enhancements. This includes ensuring that all components and structures are designed to withstand operational stresses and maintain mechanical integrity.
Transformation Management: Lead the company through a transformative change process, driving operational improvements while maintaining continuity of operations. This includes identifying key performance bottlenecks, developing strategic solutions, and implementing corrective actions.
Sales & Brand Experience: Develop and implement strategies to align manufacturing processes with the company’s sales goals and brand vision, ensuring that production capacity and quality support commercial objectives.
Commercial Focus: Maintain a keen focus on profitability and market competitiveness by ensuring that operational changes align with broader business objectives, balancing production optimization with financial performance.
Data-Driven Strategic Decision-Making: Utilize data analytics and information management systems to guide operational and strategic decisions. This involves collecting and analyzing production data to identify trends, forecast long-term needs, and ensure that strategic initiatives are supported by data-backed insights, facilitating sustainable growth and innovation.
Reporting to Group International: Regularly report progress, challenges, and key metrics to the international headquarters, ensuring transparency and alignment with global strategic priorities.

- Qualifications & Skills:
Technical Expertise: Strong background in mechanical engineering, with a deep understanding of material science, structural analysis, and production optimization.
Commercial Acumen: Proven ability to integrate sales and marketing strategies with operational improvements, ensuring the organization’s brand and commercial goals are reflected in manufacturing processes.
Leadership and Performance Management: Demonstrated experience in general management within manufacturing environments, especially in situations requiring swift, decisive action. Ability to stabilize operations while leading teams through organizational changes.
Communication & Team Engagement: Serve as a bridge between upper management and front-line employees, fostering collaboration across departments to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic and commercial objectives.
Data Information & Analytics: Strong ability to leverage data to support strategic decision-making. Proficiency in managing and interpreting large sets of data to identify operational trends, optimize processes, and ensure that long-term business goals are data-driven and well-informed.
International Experience: Experience reporting to and collaborating with international stakeholders, ensuring global alignment with company-wide standards and goals.
